"The Office" was based on the taping of a fake PBS documentary. Cameras followed the lives of fictional employees at Dunder Mifflin, a paper company in Scranton, Penn., over the course of eight seasons.

Katy Cipriano, recently broke her silence after being fired from widely criticized Scottsdale, Ariz. restaurant Amy's Baking Company (ABC).
The polite waitress was infamously scolded by restaurant owner Amy Bouzaglo after asking a work-related question on Fox's "Kitchen Nightmares," which stars celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey. Amy, who suffered various meltdowns throughout a recent episode, advised Cipriano which table she was to deliver a meal to and fired her simply for asking "Are you sure?"
Amy and her husband Samy recently made headlines for openly attacking dissatisfied customers at ABC and displaying other troubling behavior as part of what critics deem to be their unprofessional business handling methods. Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs thrilled his fans as well as "Downton Abbey" viewers with a comedy spoof about the British period drama.
The 42-year-old rapper added the video, entitled "Downton Diddy," to the website FunnyOrDie.com, where he appeared as a cast member on "Downtown Abbey" on Wednesday.
In the five-minute clip, Diddy appears in character as Lord Wolcott before joking that he is an avid "Abbey head." more >>
Dylan Patton, a former actor for the hit soap opera "Days of Our Lives," was arrested and charged with selling cocaine in an undercover sting arranged by police. Patton, 20, faces up to 9 years in state prison if found guilty.
Patton was formerly charged with selling cocaine out of his home in Agoura Hills, Calif. Police heard rumors that he was dealing and decided to send in an undercover officer to try and purchase the drug. The sting was successful and Patton was immediately taken into custody.
He lived within 1,000 feet of Sumac Elementary School, which had officials concerned that he was dealing to minors. The charges were upgraded to felony counts, meaning that he could receive a harsher sentence if found guilty of the crime. He is currently still in jail, unable to pay the $30,000 bond. more >>
Bishop Noel Jones and actress LisaRaye McCoy have indeed been dating, according to a new report, and their relationship is likely to be featured in the megachurch pastor's upcoming docu-series "Pastors of L.A."
Veteran entertainment journalist Jawn Murray reports on his Always A-List website that a person privy to a private screening of the pilot for "Pastors of L.A." shared that the City of Refuge Church founder and pastor's relationship with McCoy is apparently a major part of the reality series, which is centered around the lives and careers of six prominent California ministers.
"I was really surprised that they were so open about their relationship. I heard the rumors that they had been dating, but all doubt was removed watching this show," the unidentified source reportedly told Murray. more >>
