    American Idol 2012 currently claims the title as the most watched television show in the U.S. according to Nielsen ratings data, capturing the 18 to 49 demographic.

    With so many reality TV shows that are not very family friendly, American Idol taking the number one spot proves that crude shows are not always what viewers want to see.

    American Idol is a show revolved around the concept of finding the next superstar. Americans have been captivated by the show for a decade since its inception in 2002 where viewers are able to directly participate in the voting of their favorite performers.     Jennifer Lopez's highly publicized relationship with Casper Smart has reportedly landed the young dancer a leading role in an upcoming reality television show.

    Smart, 25, will reportedly star in an Oxygen reality television show alongside his 42-year-old girlfriend who also judges the "American Idol" vocal competition. The New York Post reported that the show will focus on the pair's professional relationship as Smart attempts to get Lopez's dancers in shape for her upcoming tour.

    Lopez's boyfriend and backup dancer, who recently appeared in her music video "Dance Again," will also choreograph her upcoming 20-city tour which will reportedly be the premise of their new reality show. However, this will not be the first time that Lopez's romantic and professional life have been fused together on television. more >>

    Kim Kardashian is reportedly worrying her sister Khloe with an alleged addiction to prescription pills and the reality television star's representatives are speaking out about it.

    Radar Online reported that a source made claims about 31-year-old Kim Kardashian, who is currently dating rapper and producer Kanye West, developing an addiction to Valium and other prescription pills.

    "She's freaking everyone out right now. She's taking Valium and sleeping pills," the source claimed. "The last time she self-medicated was when she split from Reggie Bush, when everything felt impossible." more >>

  • Snooki's Self-Eviction From 'Shore' House; Confirms She's Having A Boy

    Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who is expecting her first child, is moving out of MTV's famous "Jersey Shore" house in a bid to keep away from the drinking binges and explosive fights, it has been revealed.

    The 24-year-old reality TV personality will instead move into a separate house with her fiancée Jionni LaValle, which is reportedly not too far from the Seaside Heights, N.J. beach house, according to The New York Post.

    "The house is gross anyway, but certainly not comfortable for someone well into her pregnancy," a source told Us Weekly, adding that she "has major concerns about filming." more >>

    The reality television series "Dog the Bounty Hunter" has been canceled by A&E, the station that it has aired on since its premier in 2004.

    The show followed Duane "Dog" Chapman and his family while they underwent the various trials of the bounty hunting business.

    A&E did not cite a specific reason for canceling the reality series, however, the show came under fire last year when Hoang Minh Phung Nguyen sued Chapman and his crew for defamation. more >>
