Actor Will Smith, who is promoting his upcoming movie "Men In Black III," recently explained why he opted to slap a reporter during a red carpet event in Moscow recently.
Smith, 43, appeared on the "Late Show with David Letterman" recently where he spoke about the incident that prompted a physical response from the actor last week.
"I was in Moscow [and] we were doing an interview and [The journalist] says 'I'm your biggest fan, can I have a hug,'" Smith explained. "So I go to give this joker a hug and he tries to like lean in to kiss me […] its just awkward Dave." more >>

Heath Ledger's Treehouse Purchased by 'Hunger Games' Star

Josh Hutcherson of this year's hit film "The Hunger Games" has purchased a treehouse previously owned by Heath Ledger.
The 1,861 square-foot home is surrounded by dense foliage, and therefore referred to as a tree house. Many celebrities have resided in the Hollywood Hills mansion, including Ellen DeGeneres, who Heath purchased the home from in 2005.
Hutcherson reportedly purchased the two-bedroom, 2-bath house for $3 million, according to TMZ. Last September, the home was available for $2.995 million. It is unclear if the 19-year-old paid the full price. more >>

Actor Will Smith has revived an old rumor that he will play President Barack Obama in a supposed biopic about the president's life, telling BBC News that he is the "most natural choice" for playing the president.
In an interview on Monday with the BBC, Smith said he and the president carry the most physical similarity in their ears.
"We talked about it a few months ago. Again, it's about the ears, that's the thing. People see the ears, and Barack and I both have the ears, so I'm the most natural choice," he told the British news agency on Monday. more >>
