Snooki won't be the first celebrity to insist on wearing high heels while pregnant; she also likely won't be the last to fall in them.

The Jersey Shore reality star recently took a dip in Jersey's Seaside Heights, however this time the star wasn't landing in water. Instead, the 24 year-old soon to be mother was strolling outside in platform heels when she took a sudden fall. Previously confident about her youth and ability to avoid "ugly shoes," the stumble may have changed the star's mind about strutting around pregnant in heels.

"I feel confident in them, and I know I'm not going to fall, so until it feels very uncomfortable, I'm still going to rock them," Snooki told "Good Morning America" earlier this month. "I'm only 24 and I'm pregnant -- it doesn't mean I need to be wearing flats and ugly shoes. I can still look good."

Snooki, born Nicole Polizzi, isn't the first celebrity to insist on wearing high heels while pregnant. Jessica Simpson also opted to wear high, platform heels throughout her pregnancy.

"I'm probably going to deliver my baby in these [4-inch YSL heels]... I went to the doctor yesterday and he said, 'You're gonna need to get out of those heels!" Simpson, who wore heels late into her pregnancy, recalled to Us Weekly last year. "I was like, 'Excuse me! I'll be delivering in these heels!'"

A pregnant Kourtney Kardashian also stepped out in a high pair of Christian Louboutins in April before she nearly tumbled and fell while walking up a set of stairs. Luckily for Kardashian, those standing nearby were able to catch the reality star before she hit the ground.

Simpson admitted in March that wearing heels while being very pregnant at the same time was no easy task.

"We're waddling at this point," she joked of her size and shoe choice while on the Jay Leno show. "And I'm wearing six-inch heels today, and it's a lot of weight to carry on six inches," she laughed.
