Sharon Osbourne has had her share of tumultuous moments and controversial statements, and on Monday's episode of "The Talk," she let loose on fellow celebrity mom, Dina Lohan.
"Kids don't need friends as a mother," Osbourne stated. "They need a mother to guide them. The way she conducts herself—she acts like a teenager. She's a mother past her sell by date. I don't think she has a criminal record, but she's a criminal to herself and her children because of the way she behaves."
Lohan came under criticism for drinking with her daughter, Lindsay, on her 50th birthday. Lindsay has struggled to remain sober after several incidents and five trips to rehabilitation. Lohan also appeared on the "Dr. Phil" show to discuss her life and her daughter's life.
She received a lot of retaliation for her appearance on "Dr. Phil," with many even suggesting that she was intoxicated during the show. Lohan burst into tears at several times in the show and even flipped her middle finger at the camera but insisted that she was sober.
"I don't care what it looks like. I'm fine and I don't care what anyone says. All people saw was two minutes edited of an hour-long interview. Of course they cut it to make it interesting. That's their job. I don't blame them for doing that. Some of the comments were taken out of context, but I'm fine. I'm fine," she told TMZ.
But even Dr. Phil was unconvinced by Lohan's behavior on his show. "What you have done is distinguished yourself in the negative. You have come on here and been phony and inauthentic."
"I think the interview will be good," Lohan told TMZ before it aired. "I know what I said and the facts are what the facts are. The proof is in the facts. The truth will set you free."
