The Android 4.1, JellyBean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone will begin rolling out next week.

YouMobile.org has heard reports from Samsung confirming that the international version of the device will start receiving the update then.

The company is expected to announce it at its "Unpacked" 2012 media event scheduled to take place in Berlin on Aug. 29, which is next Wednesday.

Shortly after "Unpacked" takes place, the JellyBean 4.1.1 build will start rolling out for the all International Galaxy S3 models across the globe.

The U.S. version of the handset should also be receiving the JellyBean update in the near future, however, there have not been any announcements regarding the company rolling it out in the nation. YouMobile reported that it should arrive before October.

Samsung will also release black version of the Galaxy S3 smartphone that will feature 64GB of built-in storage.

Samsung officially confirmed that it would be releasing a black version of the smartphone last week.

This variant of the device is currently available for pre-order at the U.K. retailer known as MobileFun. It is expected to be shipped in four weeks for those who pre-order the smartphone and will be available at retail locations two weeks after that.

This version of the device will cost the same as the blue and white models that sell for £499.95

This will be the fourth color of the smartphone to be released. Along with the Pebble Blue and White versions, AT&T began offering a Garnet Red model earlier in the summer.
