The Paralympics closing ceremony from London 2012 is set to commence from 3.30 p.m. ET and will feature Coldplay. The spectacular ceremony can be watched online through live stream - a live stream video is provided below. It is not being televised live in the United States.

It has been reported that the closing ceremony will attempt to recreate the feel of festivals throughout British history. The event will take place in front a packed 80,000 crowd in the Olympic Stadium in east London, and will see the popular rock band perform some of their greatest hits as well as collaborate with other stars.

Artistic Director Kim Gavin has said prior to the event: "We're known as a nation for having the most festivals - it's something we do with 600 festivals a year. The festival approach is purely to bring this celebration of the last night of the games in London ... ancient festivals were our inspiration. For instance, the summer solstice and the autumn equinox."

It is believed that the famous Stonehenge, well known as a place where mysterious ancient ceremonies took place, will also feature as a theme in the event.

The Paralympic Games 2012 in London has been the biggest in the event's 52 year history, and has been praised worldwide for having an atmosphere as thrilling as the Olympic Games, with events being packed out throughout.

Organizing committee chairman Sebastian Coe has said, "What an amazing 10 days we've had. We've seen champions made and watched more records than ever before. Fifty-odd countries have now won gold medals and 70 have won medals."

He added, "We've had an extraordinary level of engagement with the public in our stadiums and on television. In any metric you look at this, it's been unprecedented. So tomorrow night's ceremony will be a celebration of all of that."

Along with Coldplay it is believed that rapper Jay-Z and pop singer Rihanna will join the band on stage for some exciting collaborations. It is believed that so many bands and solo artists approached organizers to perform that many had to be turned down.
