Oprah Winfrey is set to reveal her natural hair color in the September issue of "O, The Oprah Winfrey Magazine."

The special issue of the magazine will feature Oprah on the front cover showing off her natural hair, which may surprise some people. Oprah is more often than not seen wearing a wig along with hair weaves, however, she can be seen with her natural thick, radiant hair on the upcoming magazine cover.

Images from the magazine cover were leaked online on August 1, and is sure to lead to an increased interest in the new issue and inflate sales.

The magazine features intimate details of Oprah's personal feelings and choices, and reveals that if left to her own devices the TV chat show queen probably would have cut off all her own hair a long time ago. However, thanks to close friend and fellow TV legend, Bill Cosby, she was talked out of it and kept her hair.

According to the magazine, actor and comedian Bill Cosby urged Oprah not to shave her head: "You've got the wrong head shape and you'll disappoint yourself."

Thankfully Oprah took Cosby's advice, and she can now show off her natural hair on the upcoming issue of "O, The Oprah Winfrey Magazine."

Oprah was recently caught up in a Twitter spat with one of her followers when pushed about her supporting charitable causes in the United States.

@awalkdatalk pushed Oprah by questioning her with a tweet: "@Oprah when are u going 2 give back 2 the ghettos in America."

However, Oprah, who has nearly 16 million Twitter followers quickly responded to defend herself: "@awalkdatalk when are u. I've put 500 African American men thru college. And u sir?"

The September issue of "O, The Oprah Winfrey Magazine" which features the photo of Oprah's natural hair and contains intimate details from the star is released into news stores on August 7, 2012.
