NFL legend Warren Sapp's ex wife claims the former defensive tackle owes her a whopping $728,100 in alimony and child support payments, TMZ reported.
As part of his divorce settlement in 2007, Sapp was ordered to pay $15,000 per month in child support for his two children with Jamiko Vaughn, and another $45,000 per month in alimony payments, according to court documents filed in Florida.
Sapp has since tried to have the payments reduced, having filed documents asking a judge to lower the payments in October 2011.
Vaughn claimed that Sapp has not been honoring the terms of the settlement since March 2010, and that he's been paying different amounts each month, TMZ reported. Vaughn also claimed that her ex-husband has paid her nothing for two of the months.
Sapp's ex wife has totaled the former Tampa Bay Buccaneer's missed payments up to $728,100 and filed a motion asking a judge to enforce the terms of their divorce agreement.
The former NFL star is no stranger to controversy. Throughout his career, Sapp had been criticized and sometimes punished for "unsportsmanlike conduct." In 2007, Sapp was fined $75,000 by the NFL for misconduct in a game where he verbally bashed a referee.

In February 2010, Sapp was arrested in Miami and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery stemming from a confrontation with his girlfriend that allegedly became violent. According to the Miami Beach Police Department, Sapp was accused of attacking his girlfriend early in the morning at the Shore Club Hotel. The charges were later dropped.
Sapp, currently an analyst on NFL Network, has also left some unprecedented marks in the NFL. During the nine seasons he spent with the Buccaneers in Florida, Sapp went to the Pro Bowl seven times as only one of nine NFL defensive players to ever make the all star football match up. He also helped Tampa Bay win the Super Bowl in 2002.
A judge has not yet ruled on either Vaughn's or Sapp's requests.
