Friday is National Coffee Day 2012, and millions across the United States who regularly get their coffees every day are in for a treat as a host of outlets celebrate the day by offering free coffee.

Some of the most well known stores offering free coffee at participating outlets are 7-Eleven, McDonalds, Krispy Kreme and Einstein Bros., among others.

At participating McDonald's restaurants they are offering a free small McCafe Premium Roast coffee on both Friday and Saturday. The restaurant has announced that no purchase, and no coupons are necessary, just pop into your local participating restaurant and demand your free cup of Joe.

Dunkin' Donuts is also celebrating National Coffee Day with a deal. They say you can get a small hot or 16 ounce iced latte for 99 cents with a coupon, which is valid through Sunday.

Dunkin' is promoting that deal alongside a few other promotions that will be available through Sunday. Those deals all require a coupon to be printed out and taken to your local store to claim the bargain. The deals include:

$1 off a Dozen Donuts
$1 off a Bagel with Cream Cheese
Buy a Box of Joe and receive 6 free Donuts
$0.99 for a small hot or iced latte
$1 off any 4 count muffins
$0.99 for a small iced tea

Those Dunkin' Donuts deal coupons can be obtained and printed by clicking through to the Dunkin' site HERE.

Dunkin' Donuts is also offering a pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee for $5.99 at participating restaurants while supplies last (limit of two per guest).

At Krispy Kreme you can get a free small coffee at participating outlets. Again no purchase is necessary here.

At 7-Eleven they are calling on customers to vote in the "7-Election" and are offering a large blue Obama cup or a red Romney cup, which customers can fill up with free coffee from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday at participating 7-Eleven stores.
