Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers guard, and his wife Vanessa recently announced that they were reconciling and decided to join together to combat homelessness recently.

While the Bryants announced their commitment to helping the homeless in Los Angeles, Calif., recently, the couple decided to focus on youths being affected by it. The pair created a joint foundation called Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation that "is dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families in need, both domestically and globally," according to their website.

On Tuesday, the Bryants utilized Twitter and Instagram to document some recent work they contributed to the housing project named Step Up on Vine. The pair were joined by former President Bill Clinton, and each spoke about the experience.

"Great event with President Clinton and @KVBFF for renovation of Step Up on Vine," the basketball player tweeted.

His wife took to her Instagram account to speak about the experience.

"Tonight Kobe and I joined former President Clinton as we celebrated the grand opening of Step Up on Vine, a permanent supportive housing project in Hollywood as a part of our commitment to end youth homelessness through the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation," Vanessa wrote on Instagram.

Although the pair was pictured smiling with one another, the wife of the basketball star filed for divorce from him in Dec. 2011. However, the couple who has been married for 10 years recently released a statement to let the world know that they were giving their marriage another try.

"We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled. Our divorce action will be dismissed," the statement reads. "We are looking forward to our future together."

Kobe took to his Facebook to reaffirm the statement.

"I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family. When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with," Kobe said via Facebook. "Thank you all for your support and prayers! Much luv, Mamba out."
