Justin Bieber covered his Christmas list this year, as he headed home for the holidays with some major gifts in tote.

“Spending time with family feels really, really good. Going to get to see these smiles at Christmas," tweeted Bieber alongside a picture of himself with his siblings.

Originally from Canada, Bieber was born in Stratford, Ontario, where he has spent the last few days exchanging gifts with family and friends. One friend in particular, childhood pal Ryan Butler, was gifted with a new ivory Ford Mustang convertible.

Writing on his Twitter account, the 17-year-old called the gift “swag.” The long-time friend had also made a cameo in 2009 on the “One Time” music video.

Bieber, who was recently busy with his new number one album “Under the Mistle Toe,” will join Lady Gaga as the two perform alongside host Ryan Seacrest for the 2012 ball drop in Times Square, New York.

The young singer has also played an active role in charity this year, hitting number two on the “Top 20 Celebs Gone Good for 2011.” The singer has also encouraged others to create charity projects through his website, which allows people to pick their own charity.
Bieber has become a role model for many, due to his unique break out story. In an AP interview the singer said he’d never been able to tell about his own story and his belief in God.

When asked why he wanted to retell a story people already new, Bieber said, “I've never gotten the chance to really tell them myself. I've told them in interviews and people have written articles, but it's not really from me.”

“I'm a Christian, I believe in God, I believe that Jesus died on a cross for my sins. I believe that I have a relationship and I'm able to talk to him and really, he's the reason I'm here, so I definitely have to remember that,” Bieber said.
