A horror flick led to a medical emergency at the Sundance Film Festival last week.

The film, "V/H/S," has been called a "Blair Witch" style horror film and, according to several reports, the gory film caused three moviegoers at the festival to have physical reactions.

One man stumbled out of the film, collapsed, and suffered a seizure during a midnight screening of the horror film in Park City, Utah. Paramedics were called to the scene to treat the distraught moviegoer.

The movie also caused a physical reaction from the man's girlfriend who rushed out of the theater and vomited. A third moviegoer fled the theater the following day in tears due to the graphic and gory scenes.

The shocking horror film has been touted as the scariest movie at the entire festival and some are suggesting that the film could easily go down as one of the scariest movies of all time.

"V/H/S" is about a group of criminal kids who are paid to raid a desolate home to acquire a rare VHS tape. When the group begins to preview the collection of frightening tapes in the abandoned home, the group witnesses graphic scenes of paranormal activity.

"It was scary and not fun, and everyone is grateful the guy and his girlfriend are Ok," V/H/S film producer Roxanna Benjamin said on her Twitter page.

"One of the managers for the theatre was sitting near the guy, and said he just got real real pale and stood up and bobbed and weaved his way out the door," Benjamin wrote. "Once he was in the lobby, he kind of turned around and collapsed."

The couple opted to go back and finish watching the film following the emergency.
