Thursday marked the second day of the C3 Conference at the Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas. The three-day conference, hosted by Pastor Ed Young and his wife, Lisa Young, seeks to address the importance of creative inspiration in the modern church culture.

The conference began Wednesday evening with "C3 Nights," and included musical performances to get participants in the mood for worship.

Thursday featured an array of inspirational pastors speaking to the thousands in attendance. Pastor Ed Young shared the stage with his father, Homer Edwin Young (Ed Young Senior) to discuss the importance of perseverance in building a ministry.

"You'll have high tides and low tides in the church, but you have to keep on doing it!" Pastor Young told the conference, as posted by C3 on its Twitter page.

Pastor Stovall Weems' talk centered mostly on the importance of staying connected to a local church and maintaining a humble mentality when leading Christ's followers.

"Stay at the rock that will show you the way. Stay at the feet of Jesus," Weems told the crowd, as tweeted by Cayla Carr and re-tweeted by the C3 team. Weems is the lead pastor of Celebration Church, located in Jacksonville, Fla.

Lee Strobel, a New York Times best-selling author, Pastor Kevin Gerald of Champions Centre in Tacoma, Wash., and At Boshoff, founder and pastor of Christian Revival Church of South Africa, also spoke during Thursday's session.

Carl Lentz, the senior pastor of Hillsong Church, New York City, combined witty humor with profound teaching during his remarks, which was delivered Thursday evening, toward the end of the session.

"If your church can't seem to go forward, worship through it. If everybody's against you, realize that God is for you, and worship through it," Lentz said, as featured on the C3 conference's official website.

"This fight is won," he added.

Steven Furtick and Judah Smith stole the spotlight with their talks at Thursday's "C3 Nights."

"You matter more than you think you do, and it's less about you than you think it is," Furtick told the crowd, as quoted on the C3 Facebook page. Furtick is the founder and senior pastor of Elevation Church, located in Charlotte, N.C. According to Outreach Magazine, Elevation Church is one of the 10 fastest growing churches in the United States.

Judah Smith, pastor of The City Church in Seattle, Wash., also received an energized welcome Thursday night during his talk.

"'You are perpetually, perfectly, and permanently approved by God.' @JudahSmith- Laying down some truth at #c3conf!" C3 tweeted yeserday evening.

Friday marks the final day of the conference.
