Former supermodel Cheryl Tiegs was the first to be fired on Sunday night's premiere episode of "Celebrity Apprentice" Season 5.

The 64-year-old, who was big in the seventies and eighties, unsuccessfully defended herself before executive producer, Donald Trump, and as a result was given the famous "you're fired" line before leaving the building.

The first week's challenge required Team Unanimous, the men's team, and Team Forte, the women's team to each raise "the most" money running separate Manhattan sandwich shops.

After Team Unanimous received a $305,000 donation from a generous friend of team leader Paul Teutal (American Chopper), they claimed victory over the women's team who raised significantly less money than the men.

The men's team, which opted for a carnival theme, raised a whopping $332,120 while the women's team who chose a red carpet motif raked in a healthy $126,962, though that figure could not compare with Team Unanimous.

Tiegs, who had failed in her role as "cheese slicer" after struggling to use an industrial slicer, was taken back into Trump's boardroom after team leader, Patricia Velasquez, blamed her along with Gambino crime family Mafia boss' daughter Victoria Gotti for Team Forte's loss.

Other famous team Forte members, who managed to escaped Trump's nail biting firing process, included "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Guidice, former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day, and singer/actress Debbie Gibson.

The men's team consisted of a very diverse bunch including American Idol star Clay Aiken, former bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno, Star Trek star George Takei, magician Penn Jillette, singer Dee Snider, Broadcaster Adam Carolla, talk show host Arsenio Hall and Orange County Choppers owner Paul Teutul Sr.

Tiegs is renowned for her long-running affiliation with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, in which she was featured on multiple covers during the seventies and eighties.
