The soon-to-be-mother opened up about her big plans for a family, as well as ideas about her career and an upcoming business venture- Barrymore Wines.

"I can't wait until I have my children," said the 37-year-old actress speaking to Haute Living magazine.

Barrymore married Will Kopelman on June 2 in Monetcito, Calif. While she anxiously anticipates growing her family, the actress also discussed what kind of parent she wants to become.

"I love the idea that they don't have to do something that they have no interest in, that they can do something completely opposite if they want to," Barrymore told Haute Living.

"I will be so surprised if they don't want to do something involving food or wine or art, but I'll be OK with it," she continued. "I just want to build fun, great thing for my family."

Moreover, the actress divulged that she would not be a stay-at-home mom, and would rather pursue an array of interests.

"I want to do it all," she told the magazine. "I love film, but I also love wine, food and traveling. I would love to be a travel writer. I'd be so stoked."

Barrymore's love of wine led her into the vineyard where she created her own award-winning Barrymore Pinot Grigio.

"I think it's nice to do what you really love in life, occupationally and recreationally," she added.

As for her wine label, Barrymore said she is "still searching" for the perfect red wine and carefully considers every decision surrounding the product.

"We went to Italy, we went to our vineyard, our bottling plants, we tried a lot of different wines," the "Never Been Kissed" star explained. "I'm very leery of celebrity culture… I wanted to put it out there because wine is about tradition and family. Putting your name on something and having no idea how it came about if someone else did all the work- that's not me."

"Right now, I'm getting to do the things I love and I'm so, so happy about it," concluded the "Big Miracle" star.
