LisaRaye McCoy, actress, and DeVon Franklin, film executive and preacher, recently hosted the "One Church, One Night" benefit concert where proceeds were donated to Newtown, Conn., victims and other charitable organizations.

The recent benefit was created by One Church International in Los Angeles, Calif., and broadcast to over 150 countries using a live Internet stream. A number of special guests that attended the benefit included Tammi Haddon, K.J. Scriven, Sharon Youngblood, Larry Walker, Chief Wakil and P.S.A.L.M.S choir featuring Jason McGee.

Both McCoy and Franklin attend the church regularly, according to Path Magazine and spoke about the importance of the event that took place before the Christmas holiday.

"One Church is a place where you can come to meet with God and hear a message that will inspire you to be a better person," McCoy said of the church in a Path Magazine report.

Franklin agreed, and also gave thanks to the church's leader, Pastor Toure Roberts.

"Tonight is a divine appointment," Franklin said in the Path Magazine report. "We thank God for Pastor Toure's heart to sow into others and help us demonstrate God's love on a daily basis."
