"So apparently Kate Middleton (William?) is pregnant because of THIS picture," 20-year-old Demi Lovato posted on her Twitter account. "Are you KIDDING ME?!!"

The former Disney star was referring to a headline and image found in Star magazine featuring the Duchess of Cambridge.

"And people wonder why girls/guys have body image issues," Lovato continued. "Whether she is or not, she still has a beautiful body. Shame on you Star magazine."

The magazine displayed the Duchess in a belted lace Alexander McQueen dress which she wore during Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in June. Star magazine went on to suggest that Middleton was pregnant because "palace sources" confirmed the news.

There has been no official announcement from Buckingham Palace about the Duke and Duchess' family.

Rumors surrounding additions to the royal family occur on a regular basis, as the media constantly scrutinizes Middleton and her husband, Prince William. The royal couple is currently touring Southeast Asia.

Lovato is also no stranger to the media's scrutiny, and has spoken out about her struggles with body image including bulimia and self-medication.

More recently, Lovato openly discussed her image while on "Live! With Kelly and Michael" this week. The singer admitted regretting a tattoo she had gotten in "a spur of the moment, stupid decision."

At just 20 years old, Lovato already has 12 tattoos, and she said the idea of having them removed has crossed her mind.

"I've thought about it before, you know, when I get older I don't know if I want to have a 'rock and roll' in my middle finger," she said. "But I'm young and I can rock it out now. When I get old, I can worry about it later."

Lovato can be seen on FOX's "X-Factor," which kicked off the new season on Sept. 12.
