During a press conference in Munich, British boxers David Haye and Dereck Chisora got into a fight so vicious they are both facing lifetime bans from the German Boxing Federation as well as serious legal consequences.
The outside-the-ring fight left managers bloodied, tempers high, and two boxers facing grave consequences, including possible jail time.
Haye was attending the press conference after Dereck Chisora's match agaist Vitali Klitschko as a commentator for BoxNation.
Though Chisora had lost the match, Klitschko's Bernd Boente praised Chisora's efforts during the press conference. In his praise however, he insulted David Haye.
Haye had previously backed out of a fight with Klitschko. Boente said, "Contrary to David Haye, Dereck Chisora really went for it and really tried."
Boente's comments prompted Chisora and his promoter, Frank Warren, to start teasing Haye, saying, "How's your toe? How's your toe?"- a reference to the broken toe that kept Haye from fighting Klitschko.

According to the BBC, Haye responded by calling Chisora a loser.
Chisora immediately picked up his microphone, rose from the table and made his way through reporters toward Haye, telling Haye to "say that to my face."
Amid a frenzy of flashing cameras the two got into it, throwing insults, punches, and Haye even threw a reporter's tripod. At one point, Haye had a bottle in his hand. No one was seriously injured, but Haye's manager, Adam Booth, suffered a cut on his forehead.
After the intense scuffle, a still charged Chisora yelled out, "I swear to God, David I'm going to [expletive] shoot you." He continued saying "I'm going to shoot David Haye" several more times.
Since the incident, both boxers have issued statements. Chisora said "I feel I must wholeheartedly apologize for my part in the regrettable scenes."
Haye's statement is far less repentant and seems to blame Chisora for the entire incident. Haye's statement said, "I held my ground but, unfortunately, [Chisora] caused a serious disturbance to occur."
He did not address the fact that he threw a tripod or brandished a bottle.
Despite the contents of their statements, German prosecutors have told BBC Sport that both Chisora and Haye could face prison terms for their actions.
