Grammy-award winning singer Faith Hill has opened up about how she manages her busy family life and her music career.

Appearing in People magazine’s special annual edition, “I Count My Blessings,” Hill named her husband as the most significant blessing in her life.

Hill is married to Tim McGraw, making a country music power couple. They share three daughters. Recently the 44-year-old returned to the studio to work on her first album since 2005, and reflected on what is important to her.

“Tim inspires me every day in many, many ways,” said the singer. “I draw inspiration from his assertiveness and from watching him being a father and a husband.”

Adding to her list of things to be grateful for, Hill discussed a newfound passion for gardening.

“I have a rose garden that I’ve wanted for years. It’s been a source of therapy and a moment of quietness in the middle of chaos. It reminds me how much gardening and sharing the fruits of your labor was part of my childhood,” said Hill.

While adding the final touches to her new album, the singer would bring her roses to the studio. The flowers provided inspiration and joy during the long and sometimes difficult work on the album, which Hill says “truly represented where I am in life.”

Wednesday at the 2011 Country Music Awards, Hill took to the stage performing her new single off of the upcoming album. Dressed in black, she delivered the final performance of the night singing “Come Home.”

The album is scheduled for release early next year.

Raised in Jackson, Miss. in a devout Christian environment, Hill got her start singing in local churches. She has received five Grammy Awards as well as nine Academy of Country Music Awards for her musical work.

Hill and McGraw celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this year, and released personalized Barbie dolls. Country music’s most famous couple, Hill and McGraw often collaborate on songs, such as hit singles “It’s Your Love” and “Like We Never Loved At All.”
