Chelsea vs Manchester United takes place in the English Premier League on Sunday in a match up that could go a long way to deciding the EPL champions this year. The match kicks off at 4 p.m. GMT (12 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream (details below).

This match up sees first place play third place, and if United can claim the away win today it will throw the league wide open again. For a number of weeks now Chelsea have been able to maintain a four point cushion over the two Manchester teams in second and third place, but a United win today would see just a single point separate the three teams.

For Chelsea this is undoubtedly their biggest test so far this Premier League season. They have beaten both Arsenal and Tottenham, who are strong teams, but Manchester United are pure championship contenders, where as the other two are more "also-ran" sides. United have the ability to just overturn a side at a moment's notice, scoring goals from nothing.

If today's match ends in a draw it will probably be a result that favors Manchester City more than either of these two teams. Following City's win on Saturday they currently sit just a point behind Chelsea, so a draw would leave them just two points behind the Chelsea - within striking distance - a two ahead of arch rivals Manchester United.

Chelsea's star midfielder Frank Lampard suffered a calf injury during the Blues' midweek defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk and will miss this match. The Blues will also have to do without skipper John Terry, who is in a four game suspension.

These two teams have met 40 times so far in the Premier League era of the English game, with Chelsea surprisingly leading in the head-to-head record. Chelsea have won 13 times compared to United's 12. Both sides have scored 53 goals across that period. Putting that in context, the Blues are the only side in the Premier League era to have a positive win-to-loss ratio against Manchester United.
