The legendary singer is currently promoting her 11th studio album, "Love Me Back to Life," and has made several television appearances and performances over the past couple of days.

Consequently, Dion was spotted without her wedding ring this week, and the National Enquirer reported that the singer was "miserable, stressed out, and unhappy to be with Rene."

The unreliable tabloid went on to name Dion's "friend" as its source, claiming that the "normally outgoing entertainer appeared drawn, haggard, preoccupied… and very tense."

However, Dion is commonly known to deliver performances without donning her wedding ring, negating the reports that her marriage is on the rocks.

Furthermore, a source close to the singer said that the Enquirer's report was not only completely baseless, but "lame," according to GossipCop.

The divorce reports are not the only false news being spread about Dion recently. Earlier this month, the singer's fans were deeply upset after the 45-year-old pop star became the latest celebrity to fall victim to a death hoax.

Fake stories about Dion's death by a plane crash first appeared on Facebook where they went viral, horrifying fans, and eventually, the singer herself.

"Sometimes it's freaky because I have to call my family about it," the singer told Digital Spy of the frequent celebrity death hoaxes. "I was celebrating the birthday of my twins in Montreal and I was getting these phone calls saying there was stuff on Facebook that I was dead."

Meanwhile, Dion and Angelil share three children together. The singer's latest album dropped last month, and she can be seen at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, where she began her residency in 2011. Dion will continue to perform there through 2019.
