Jeremy Renner, star of the hit new blockbuster film "Bourne Legacy," recently lashed out at the Kardashian family in an interview with The Guardian, a U.K. publication.

The Academy award nominee dismissed the famous family as being "stupid" and having "zero talent" when asked about their controversial rise to stardom, according to new reports.

"Oh, all those ridiculous people with zero talent who spend their lives making sure everyone knows their name. Those stupid, stupid people!" Renner, 41, told The Guardian.

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, 56, helped her family members gain celebrity status by landing a reality TV show with the E! Network in 2007, the same year that her daughter Kim's, 31, infamous sex tape was leaked to the public.

The tape helped the famous family secure and maintain its fame status, which contrasts greatly with 41-year-old Renner's more challenging path to stardom.

"I know it's a cliche but I never wanted to be famous. I don't believe anybody wants to be famous. One minute I'm homeless. The next I'm still homeless, but I'm in a tuxedo, on my way to the Oscars, stopping at a coffee shop to brush my teeth because I don't have running water," Renner said.

"The next minute Jack Nicholson, someone I've admired my entire life, is right in front of me saying my name. Then he's saying the names of two movies I did and I'm like, 'Jesus, all I wanted to do was be in a movie that would play in a big enough theater that my family would get to see it. And now this.' What can I say? It's weird," he went on.

Renner is among a growing list of Hollywood stars who have openly condemned the Kardashians in recent months.

"James Bond" actor Daniel Craig once referred to Kim as an "idiot" in a recent interview with GQ magazine, where he blasted her for making a living by selling her private life to E! television.

"It's not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for. But if you sell it off it's gone. You can't buy it back -- you can't buy your privacy back," Craig told the GQ magazine UK.

"Mad Men" actor Jon Hamm also openly criticized Kim's fame status in an interview with Elle magazine U.K.

"Being a f------ idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture. You're rewarded significantly. Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated," Hamm told Elle magazine.
