The update is said to make the smartphone easier than ever to use and brings with it a new browser with improved page loading, tabbed browsing, offline reading, and desktop mode.
There is also a brand new lock screen available with Android 4.0 that provides shortcuts to the device's camera, text messaging, phone dialer and residential screen. Desktop folders can also be created on the handset by dragging one app icon onto another, and a swipe away notifications bar has been added as well.
Burst users will also have access to Native Sync for AT&T Address Book, along with expanded camera options including Panorama Capture and Self Mode. A Recent Apps button will be added to the smartphone as well, that lets users move from one task to another using the list inside the system bar.
The Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade is also available on the Pantech Element tablet.
Pantech Element users also now have access to resizable widgets and an updated Setup Wizard with an increase of training information.
